Akwasi Brefo Brown- Legal Advisor

Akwasi Brefo Brown provides legal and administrative support to the Capacity Building Services team of Fafali.  Akwasi Brefo Brown has worked in the nonprofit community in Ghana as an Office Manager and Program Coordinator for the last few years. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and Health Services Management from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Bachelor of Law from the Kings University College with an extra focus in general sports law and community organization and change.

He aspires to channel these rich background experiences to help our younger ones not to only play but to play safe, and legitimate and uphold the principles of basic human rights amongst one another.

As a Biomedical Scientist, he is the co-founder of OPB Consulting Services, a UK-partnered (Alphabiolabs) DNA and medical tourism facility. Akwasi Brefo Brown developed a strong sense of devotion to the non-profit sector as a beneficiary of informal youth development programs at Fafali. This experience has offered him a deep appreciation of how non-profit organizations seek to improve the quality of life for youngsters in our part of the world.

Akwasi Brefo Brown has always placed all emphasis on his role at Fafali to the Irish novelist who quotes, “The proper education of poor children is the groundwork of almost every other kind of charity… Without this foundation first laid, how much kindness is unavoidably castaway?”
